Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Process and record daily cash receipts, including checks, wire transfers, and credit card transactions
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies to ensure proper allocation and coding
• Reconcile cash receipts with accounts receivable and address outstanding issues
• Identify and correct instances of unapplied or misapplied cash payments
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records for audit and reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account-related queries
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency in cash management

• At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or cash application roles
• Proficiency in handling ACH transactions, billing functions, and credit card payments
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including reconciliation and cash clearing
• Experience in managing B2B collections and payment processing
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
