Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Oversee a portfolio of business customer accounts and drive prompt collection of open balances to improve cash flow
• Investigate invoice questions, payment variances, and disputed charges, then work toward timely resolution
• Review receivables aging data regularly and focus collection activity on overdue accounts with the highest priority
• Partner with teams across sales, billing, and operations to address account concerns and remove barriers to payment
• Keep customer account details organized and current to support accurate reporting and follow-up
• Assist with posting payments, applying cash receipts, and reconciling account activity when needed
• Create recurring accounts receivable updates and communicate collection status, risks, and trends to leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, or at least 5 years of B2B collections experience
• Demonstrated success handling high-volume accounts receivable work in a business-to-business setting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence payment outcomes professionally
• Ability to manage priorities independently and deliver results within tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and sound judgment when researching account issues
• Experience with cash applications, billing processes, and commercial collections
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and HighRadius Collections Module is preferred
• Comfortable working with large, complex customer accounts in a dynamic environment
