We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a fast-paced operation specializing in the sale, rental, and refurbishment of equipment and secondary-market products. This contract role will focus on accurate billing, timely collections, and close collaboration with internal teams to ensure smooth order-to-cash processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Sage Business Works and is comfortable navigating complex invoicing scenarios involving product sales, rentals, delivery charges, and refurbished inventory.
Job Responsibility:
Manage customer account setup and maintenance within Sage Business Works
Prepare and process invoices for product sales, rentals, refurbished units, and related services
Ensure accurate billing across multiple components, including parts, freight, delivery costs, and service fees
Run monthly customer statements and actively follow up on past-due balances to support timely collections
Research and resolve billing discrepancies by partnering with sales, logistics, and operations teams
Handle payment processing, including wire transfers and payment verifications
Maintain detailed records related to inventory, equipment, titles, warranties, and customer documentation
Track customer ledgers and monitor activity for larger or more complex accounts
Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable and Transportation/Logistics teams to align financial and operational data
Provide cross-functional support during peak workloads as needed
Requirements:
Prior Accounts Receivable experience in a product-based environment (equipment, manufacturing, distribution, recycling, or resale strongly preferred)
Dynamics 365 Business Central experience required
Experience invoicing for used, refurbished, or rental equipment highly preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple billing variables
Comfortable working across shared tools and systems to reconcile data
Professional communication skills with both internal teams and external customers
Ability to ramp up quickly in a contract environment and work independently
