Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling transactions and preparing journal entries
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and collections
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations as needed
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software systems
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Ability to prepare financial statements and support month-end closing processes
• Knowledge of tax regulations and ability to assist with document preparation
• Skilled in financial analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all accounting tasks

Bilingual proficiency in Japanese or another Asian language
