Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Pasadena, California. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment in the agriculture industry. The ideal candidate will excel in managing collections, processing claims, and navigating retail customer portals efficiently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and track accounts receivable processes to ensure timely collections and accurate reporting
  • File claims and resolve disputes using retail customer portals, including Target-Partners Online, Walmart-Retail Link, Whole Foods-Workday, and Kroger-Partner Pass
  • Maintain precise documentation and records of billing and cash activity
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve financial workflows
  • Utilize accounting software systems to process invoices and monitor payment statuses
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports detailing receivables
  • Handle cash transactions and related accounting functions with attention to accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with customers to address payment issues and provide solutions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in accounts receivable processes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles
