Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions to ensure timely and accurate billing
• Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
• Support collection efforts by monitoring overdue accounts and collaborating with clients to resolve payment issues
• Apply cash payments and maintain detailed records of cash activity
• Provide necessary documentation for financial audits and assist with audit preparations
• Work closely with the Accounting Manager or Controller to ensure compliance with company policies
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of commercial collections and billing functions
• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve accounts receivable processes
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements

• Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including billing and collections
• Strong understanding of cash applications and cash activity management
• Familiarity with commercial collections and ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Proficiency in reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries
• Knowledge of financial audits and ability to provide relevant documentation
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus, particularly in plastics
