Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in collections and cash applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee invoicing and manage aging reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Conduct commercial collections to recover outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies
  • Apply cash payments accurately and maintain detailed records of cash activity
  • Collaborate with the billing team to streamline processes and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Utilize specialized software to manage accounts receivable functions efficiently
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and payment issues
  • Monitor and analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable

Requirements:
