Job Responsibility
Apply customer payments accurately and promptly while keeping cash activity records current and organized
Review account variances, trace unmatched transactions, and resolve payment issues through detailed analysis
Partner with internal teams involved in order activity to clarify discrepancies and support timely account resolution
Oversee an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and monitor aging to help maintain healthy receivable balances
Conduct consistent commercial collections outreach to secure payment, confirm account status, and reduce overdue balances
Communicate with customers regarding remittance details, approvals, and expected payment timing to support follow-up efforts
Balance daily priorities across cash application, billing support, account investigation, and collections activity
Maintain accurate documentation on outstanding invoices, customer interactions, and account updates for team visibility
Requirements
Previous experience in accounts receivable within a high-volume business environment
Hands-on ability with cash application, payment posting, and daily cash activity processing
Background in commercial collections and customer account follow-up
Skill in identifying discrepancies, researching root causes, and resolving account issues independently
Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with both customers and internal partners
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Comfortable working onsite as part of a team-oriented and collaborative office environment
