Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Process daily cash deposits and reconcile payment transactions to ensure accurate financial records
• Apply check payments in Sage Intacct, maintaining accuracy across customer accounts and job records
• Update and code receipts and adjustments while keeping detailed documentation
• Assist with year-end procedures, including verifying and updating reseller permits
• Provide attentive customer service to clients and partners by addressing inquiries related to invoices and statements
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers to resolve accounts receivable issues
• Collaborate with the accounting team on administrative tasks and extension lists
• Adapt to evolving departmental needs, which may include handling collections if necessary

• Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including cash applications and billing
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software
• Strong skills in managing cash activity and ensuring accurate financial documentation
• Excellent customer service abilities with a detail-oriented and clear communication style
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
• Flexibility to adjust responsibilities based on departmental needs
