Job Description:

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's team in the Middlesex, New Jersey area. In this role, you will manage key financial processes, including payment postings, bank reconciliations, and handling aging reports. Job Responsibility:

Reconcile bank transactions and ensure accurate posting of all incoming and outgoing payments
Allocate received payments to corresponding purchase orders with precision
Prepare and set up payment schedules based on aging reports while maintaining compliance with company standards
Utilize Microsoft Dynamics Navision to manage financial data and processes effectively
Collaborate with the team to manage inventory and transportation cost data using internal systems
Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable activities and provide timely updates to management
Assist in month-end closing procedures by ensuring all receivables are accounted for
Support the team during the busy season, including occasional weekend work, with appropriate compensation provided.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software such as Microsoft Dynamics Navision, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP
Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, including billing, cash applications, and collections
Demonstrated ability to handle account reconciliations with accuracy and attention to detail
Familiarity with commercial collections and aging report management
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines consistently
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage additional workloads during peak seasons.
