Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Prepare and process accurate accounts receivable invoices and billing documentation
• Manage collections activities, including following up on overdue accounts within established timelines
• Generate and maintain accounts receivable aging reports using Excel to track outstanding balances
• Create monthly accounts receivable financial reports to provide insights into cash flow and revenue
• Collaborate with general contractors to gather necessary documentation and resolve payment inquiries
• Cross-train in accounts payable processes to ensure operational flexibility and team coverage
• Utilize Excel to perform detailed financial analyses and reporting tasks
• Ensure compliance with AIA billing standards and prepare required AIA documents
• Monitor cash application activities to accurately record payments and maintain account balances

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
• Proficiency in preparing aging reports and monthly financial statements using Excel
• Familiarity with AIA billing processes and related documentation
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and ability to cross-train in this area
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for collaborating with contractors and team members
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced, office-based environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis
