Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Accurately post daily cash applications, including checks, wires, and other transactions
• Investigate and resolve customer deductions and account discrepancies
• Process credit memos and support necessary account adjustments
• Assist with collections efforts and reconcile customer accounts
• Maintain detailed and accurate accounts receivable records using Sage 100
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth AR operations
• Monitor high-volume transaction workflows and address any issues promptly
• Provide support during peak workload periods, including potential overtime
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

• Proven experience in accounts receivable roles, especially in high-volume environments
• Strong skills in cash applications, credit memo processing, and deduction management
• Familiarity with Sage 100 or similar accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Solid communication skills for interactions with customers and team members
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle increased workloads

Experience in the food distribution or food-related industry is preferred
