Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Mobile, Alabama. As a subject-matter expert, you will focus on improving processes, supporting team members, and driving efficiency across accounts receivable operations. This short-term contract to permanent position offers an opportunity to lead key initiatives and make a meaningful impact on the department's success.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead projects focused on improving accounts receivable processes, customer onboarding, and employee training
  • Identify opportunities for automation and present research-driven recommendations to leadership
  • Assist in integrating customers and aligning AR procedures during business acquisitions
  • Provide guidance and troubleshooting support to the Billing & Collections Team
  • Conduct quarterly training sessions and address escalated process-related inquiries
  • Apply expertise in full-cycle AR operations to enhance team performance and resolve aging accounts
  • Develop and deliver insightful accounts receivable reports, dashboards, and metrics
  • Utilize systems such as Viewpoint and Salesforce to optimize workflows and data management
  • Leverage advanced Microsoft Office skills to streamline reporting and communication

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of full-cycle accounts receivable and collections processes
  • Proven experience in managing or supporting AR, billing, or accounting operations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Familiarity with Viewpoint and Salesforce platforms is preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to propose creative solutions
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic environments involving acquisitions or procedural changes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
