Job Responsibility

  • Managing the end-to-end AR process, including processing receipts, general ledger entries, and allocating payments in SAP
  • Conducting proactive debtor follow-ups, issuing invoicing, and generating monthly statements
  • Responding to and resolving internal and external billing and customer queries with a professional approach
  • Providing general office support when required, including answering phones, processing mail, and providing absence cover for Accounts Payable

Requirements

  • Proven AR Experience: Solid experience in a dedicated Accounts Receivable or Finance Assistant role, with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and Australian tax law (GST)
  • Communication Skills: High-level oral and written communication skills with a strong, empathetic customer service focus
  • Systems Savvy: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience using SAP or SAP Business One will be highly regarded
  • Organisational Skills: The ability to plan your day-to-day workload, multitask, and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Qualifications: A Certificate IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping (or similar) is desirable
