A leading operator is seeking a diligent Accounts Receivable Officer to join their high-performing finance team in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a dual-region portfolio, as the business prepares for an upcoming office relocation. They are looking for a candidate who values stability and is eager to contribute to a collaborative, professional environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing the E2E receivables lifecycle for the NZ ledger, with secondary support for the Australian ledger
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to facilitate the timely resolution of outstanding accounts and maintain optimal cash flow
  • Investigating and resolving complex ledger discrepancies through diligent analysis and professional communication with Medical and Safety clients
  • High-accuracy processing of unallocated cash and daily bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end ageing reports and providing insights into DSO

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Accounts Receivable experience
  • SAP proficiency is a significant advantage
  • however, candidates with strong experience in other Tier-1 ERPs (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite) will be highly regarded
  • A solid understanding of GST requirements and double-entry bookkeeping
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional approach to debt recovery

Nice to have:

Accounting / Finance Qualification to be highly regarded
