Job Description:

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer – Risk & Recoveries to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll manage risk accounts referred from Collections, oversee recovery actions, and work closely with legal counsel on insolvencies and settlements. You’ll also liaise with Administrators and Liquidators, recommend write-offs in line with policy, and contribute to improving risk and recovery processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the Risk Ledger – monitor mailboxes and ensure accurate tracking of risk accounts
  • Investigate and confirm equipment removal from Risk Customer sites before closure
  • Lead system utilisation and reporting – act as the subject matter expert for Risk Accounts, generate reports, and provide training and support to the team
  • Drive process improvement initiatives – identify, recommend, and implement enhancements to risk and recovery processes
  • Administer Certificates of Currency (CoC) & PPSR – monitor requests, validate and update systems, maintain reminders, and manage related credits

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of accounts receivable experience
  • At least 1 year in Risk and Recovery
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Baseplan, SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong customer-facing finance experience with excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally as a subject matter expert with Collections, Operations, and Branch teams
  • AICM membership preferred
  • CCE or Certificate IV/Diploma in Credit Management desirable
