Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an interim Accounts Receivable Manager to support our manufacturing client in the South Bay of Los Angeles. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and efficiency of the company's financial processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in B2B accounts receivable management, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and streamline daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, and follow-ups to ensure accurate and timely processing
Provide direct support and guidance to local accounts receivable staff, offering light supervision and mentorship as needed
Coordinate with shared service teams across entities to ensure seamless accounts receivable coverage and collaboration
Update and refine management reports, aging analysis, and performance metrics to enhance visibility into accounts receivable operations
Partner closely with credit and collections teams to maintain a clean aging report and address routine follow-ups effectively
Prepare the accounts receivable function for future growth and support ongoing U.S. integrations
Ensure adherence to best practices in accounts receivable operations, contributing to overall process improvements and efficiency
Requirements:
Extensive experience managing B2B accounts receivable processes, preferably in manufacturing or distribution industries
Proficiency in handling invoicing, cash applications, aging analysis, and basic collections
Demonstrated ability to quickly onboard and stabilize operations during transitional periods
Proven experience mentoring and developing accounts receivable staff at the entry level
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional and international teams
Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Infor M3, is highly desirable
Availability for an on-site presence five days per week initially, with potential to transition to a hybrid schedule after ramp-up
