Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee billing processes, cash handling activities, and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This contract position requires a meticulous individual with a strong background in accounting and financial operations. The role is based near York, Maine and offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of accounts receivable functions.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise and manage all accounts receivable processes to maintain accurate and timely invoicing
Monitor cash activities and ensure proper handling of transactions
Oversee billing operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Maintain detailed records of financial transactions and reconcile discrepancies
Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency in financial operations
Prepare and present accounts receivable reports for management review
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations in all processes
Implement and monitor controls to safeguard company assets
Address and resolve customer billing inquiries in a thorough and careful manner
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a related role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Proficiency in accounting software systems
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle cash activities and maintain accurate financial records
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teams and addressing inquiries
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
