Our client, a well‑established organization in the medical device industry, is seeking a dynamic and hands‑on Accounts Receivable Manager for a maternity leave replacement beginning this spring. Job Responsibility:
Lead, mentor, and support a small AR team
Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle with accuracy and timely execution
Review and approve account reconciliations and clear GL accounts
Monitor collections and ensure deadlines are met
Prioritize tasks, track team performance, and supervise all customer accounts
Perform month‑end analyses and support year‑end reconciliations
Drive process improvements to optimize AR operations
Assist with invoicing for priority or escalated accounts
Perform and validate bank reconciliations as needed
Communicate with English-speaking clients, partners and employees located outside Quebec on a daily basis
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a DEC in accounting
5+ years of accounts receivable experience, including team leadership
Knowledge of Microsoft Navision/Business Central (asset)
Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
Strong analytical and organizational abilities with effective priority management
Proactive, confident leadership and excellent communication skills
Bilingual French/English, with frequent communication in both languages
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Microsoft Navision/Business Central
