Job Description

Sunday River is looking for an Accounts Receivable & Lodging Accountant to join our accounting team. This position reports to the vice president and controller and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting weekly and monthly deadlines. A moderate amount of data entry and repetitive tasks are expected. The Accounts Receivable & Lodging Accountant is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with multiple departments across the resort.

Job Responsibility

  • Reconcile all Group, Leisure, and Conference billings
  • Work with multiple departments and systems for billing purposes
  • Maintain file of all group invoices
  • General Accounts Receivable
  • Verify daily room rates are at or above floor rates
  • Generate daily SMS upload
  • Daily Reconciliation of clearing accounts
  • Review daily refund and package adjustment requests
  • Generate monthly rental income statements & checks
  • Invoice data entry for association accounting
  • Post HOA & Property Tax payments
  • Assist with summer cash room operations and deposits
  • Work weekends and some holidays as business dictates
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a business-related field preferred
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with General Ledger software a plus
