We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Data Entry Specialist to join a team in Pawtucket, Rhode Island in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position is ideal for someone who is highly accurate, comfortable working with large volumes of information, and confident maintaining organized client account records. The person in this role will support accounts receivable operations by entering and reviewing data, keeping customer information current, and helping ensure account details are reflected correctly in the company's automated processes.
Job Responsibility:
Enter, review, and update accounts receivable and customer information with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness
Maintain client records and verify that account details are correctly reflected in the current system used to support AR activity
Audit submitted information for missing, incorrect, or inconsistent details and make timely corrections as needed
Manage an assigned customer portfolio based on geographic territory and keep related account documentation organized
Communicate with customers by phone when needed to confirm information, resolve record discrepancies, or support account follow-up activities
Assist with inbound and outbound call activity tied to account maintenance and receivable-related updates
Prepare accounts for future collections efforts by ensuring records, balances, and contact details are current and well documented
Requirements:
Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or accounts receivable-related work
Strong typing skills with the ability to enter high volumes of data accurately
Comfort using computer-based systems to maintain and update customer and financial records
Ability to identify inconsistencies in information and correct errors efficiently
Strong communication skills, including confidence handling inbound and outbound phone calls
Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple accounts
Dependable work habits and the ability to follow established processes with minimal supervision
