Job Description:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk supports the Finance team by managing billing, collections, and revenue-related accounting functions. This role ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all receivables while maintaining Four Seasons’ high standards of financial integrity and guest service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare, issue, and reconcile all guest and city ledger invoices
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances, maintaining positive relationships with guests, vendors, and internal departments
  • Process payments received via credit card, wire transfer, and check
  • Review and verify daily revenue postings from Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other hotel departments
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of all billing and collection activity
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end closing procedures
  • Support the Finance team with administrative and audit-related tasks as required
  • Ensure compliance with Four Seasons’ internal controls and support continuous improvement of financial processes

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of Accounting or Finance experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal control procedures
  • Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job
  • knowledge of financial software preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, guests, and external partners
  • College education in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive computer-based tasks
  • minimal lifting (up to 15 lbs)
  • US work authorization is required
