Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client's team in Leawood, Kansas. This contract position offers the opportunity to manage critical financial processes, including billing, collections, and cash applications, in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Job Responsibility:

Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Handle cash applications and reconcile daily cash activity to maintain financial integrity
Oversee commercial collections, including follow-ups and resolving outstanding balances
Perform credit card reconciliations and address discrepancies promptly
Execute automated billing procedures and ensure compliance with company policies
Monitor billing functions, including generating invoices and tracking payments
Conduct daily reconciliations of accounts to identify and address variances
Utilize accounts receivable systems to streamline workflow and improve efficiency
Collaborate with internal teams to address billing inquiries and improve collection efforts
Prepare reports detailing accounts receivable activity and collection performance

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including billing and collections
Strong knowledge of cash applications and reconciliation procedures
Familiarity with automated billing systems and financial software
Ability to perform credit card and daily account reconciliations with precision
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members
Proficiency in accounts receivable systems and related tools
Ability to analyze financial data and generate accurate reports
