Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Nashville, Tennessee near the airport. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in managing collections, payment posting, billing, and commercial transactions. Job Responsibility:

Process and record payments accurately, ensuring proper allocation to customer accounts
Manage collection efforts, including contacting clients to resolve overdue accounts and ensuring timely payments
Handle billing tasks, including preparing and distributing invoices to customers
Reconcile accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Perform cash applications by matching payments to outstanding invoices
Monitor and manage commercial collections to maintain positive customer relationships
Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel to complete tasks efficiently
Generate and analyze reports related to accounts receivable to support decision-making
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounts receivable processes and improve efficiency

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related roles
Proficiency in account reconciliation and collection activities
Strong knowledge of billing procedures and cash applications
Familiarity with commercial collections and customer account management
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients and team members
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
