Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
• Set up new jobs in the company’s proprietary systems
• Prepare and send invoices for completed projects, following up with customers for collections as needed
• Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Communicate effectively with customers and vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment issues
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth integration of job tracking and accounting systems
• Monitor and report on outstanding balances, taking proactive steps to minimize overdue accounts
• Assist with general office tasks to support the team and maintain organized records

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in accounts receivable or related roles
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage 100 or comparable systems
• experience with QuickBooks is acceptable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with customers and handling collections professionally
• Tech-savvy with the ability to work across multiple systems and platforms
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Experience in a small business setting is a plus, with an understanding of family-owned company dynamics
