We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Adelanto, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing customer accounts, processing payments, and ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Process and apply incoming payments accurately to customer accounts
Communicate with customers to address outstanding balances and resolve billing inquiries
Manage commercial collections and follow up on overdue payments
Set up and maintain new customer accounts with precision and attention to detail
Handle data entry tasks to ensure financial records are consistently updated
Collaborate with the customer service team to respond to inquiries and provide payment solutions
Answer inbound calls and assist customers with payment-related concerns
Perform cash application tasks, ensuring timely and accurate allocation of funds
Support billing functions by generating and distributing invoices
Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with customers and internal teams
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience handling cash and posting payments
Strong understanding of billing processes and financial record-keeping
Excellent customer service skills, including experience in a call center environment
Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish preferred
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and account management
Familiarity with customer account setup and maintenance
