We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling complex accounts receivable tasks while collaborating with vendors and clients. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset and exceptional organizational skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Process electronic and manually entered invoices with precision and timeliness
  • Consolidate vendor invoices to ensure accurate billing for clients
  • Manage client-specific payment terms and oversee cash application processes
  • Perform detailed account analyses for each client to reconcile balances
  • Communicate effectively with vendors regarding unauthorized product deliveries and payment issues
  • Identify, research, and resolve open accounts receivable issues promptly
  • Collaborate with supervisors to address invoicing challenges and ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients while addressing their account needs
  • Utilize advanced systems and software for accounts receivable tasks
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred with two or more years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in high-volume accounts receivable or accounts payable tasks
  • Expertise in cash applications involving large payments and complex reconciliations
  • Proficiency in managing small transaction invoicing and resolving imbalanced accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Word
  • experience with complex systems preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in time-sensitive environments
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
