Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling complex accounts receivable tasks while collaborating with vendors and clients. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset and exceptional organizational skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all processes.

Job Responsibility:

Process electronic and manually entered invoices with precision and timeliness
Consolidate vendor invoices to ensure accurate billing for clients
Manage client-specific payment terms and oversee cash application processes
Perform detailed account analyses for each client to reconcile balances
Communicate effectively with vendors regarding unauthorized product deliveries and payment issues
Identify, research, and resolve open accounts receivable issues promptly
Collaborate with supervisors to address invoicing challenges and ensure smooth operations
Maintain positive relationships with clients while addressing their account needs
Utilize advanced systems and software for accounts receivable tasks
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities

Requirements:

High school diploma required
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred with two or more years of relevant experience
Proven experience in high-volume accounts receivable or accounts payable tasks
Expertise in cash applications involving large payments and complex reconciliations
Proficiency in managing small transaction invoicing and resolving imbalanced accounts
Demonstrated ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors
Advanced skills in Excel and Word
experience with complex systems preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in time-sensitive environments
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
