Currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Beverly Hills, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely cash application, and effective support for collections. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with the accounting team to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.

Job Responsibility

  • Process invoices and ensure accurate billing for customers
  • Apply cash receipts to customer accounts in accordance with company policies
  • Assist in the collections process by following up on overdue payments and resolving disputes
  • Maintain and update customer account records with precision and attention to detail
  • Partner with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor to monitor and improve cash receipt processes
  • Generate accounts receivable reports to support financial analysis and reporting
  • Utilize accounting systems such as NetSuite to perform AR tasks
  • Provide support for month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts and preparing necessary documentation
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to address inquiries and ensure smooth operations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounts receivable efficiency

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting roles
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and AR processes
  • Proficiency in using accounting systems, with experience in NetSuite preferred
  • Strong skills in cash applications, collections, and billing functions
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
  • Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports
  • Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
