Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Collaborate with project consultants to prepare and finalize vendor packages for commercial clients
• Accurately process and apply payments to the appropriate customer accounts
• Generate invoices from sales orders upon the successful completion of projects
• Create sales orders when deposits are received or jobs are approved
• Verify receipt of contractor invoices and ensure jobs are paid in full
• Work closely with payroll to confirm accurate commission payouts based on sales performance and applicable discounts
• Maintain thorough and accurate records to assist with month-end reporting and reconciliation
• Support the team in resolving discrepancies and addressing customer inquiries related to accounts receivable
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations throughout all AR processes

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in cash applications, billing functions, and collections for commercial accounts
• Familiarity with financial systems and tools used in AR processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients
• Problem-solving skills to identify and address discrepancies in financial records
• Commitment to maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
