Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Fresno, California. Job Responsibility:

Process accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
Reconcile accounts and maintain the general ledger to ensure financial data integrity
Prepare regular financial reports, including aging reports and account balances
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and address payment issues
Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collections
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries
Maintain organized and accurate records of all financial transactions
Support accounts payable functions when needed, ensuring a seamless workflow
Contribute to process improvements for increased efficiency in financial operations

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related accounting role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in property management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Experience with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
A bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred but not required if equivalent experience is evident
