Job Description:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts, resolving discrepancies, providing oversight to the accounts receivable department, processing billing, analyzing AR data, and maintaining AR files. Additional duties include preparing reports, assisting with annual audits, and supporting financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

Provide oversight of accounts receivable department
process monthly billing for the City of Philadelphia
process weekly billing to the State of Pennsylvania through a third-party biller
process monthly client room and board billing
analyze accounts receivable related data and resolve discrepancies
maintain intercompany transfers and payments
delegate specific tasks to fiscal associates
maintain AR files and related documents
run weekly aged reports and provide payment plan overview
process new location paperwork for state submissions
request location codes from the City of Philadelphia for new locations
prepare annual report data and audit/budget submissions
provide special reports as requested

Requirements:

Previous experience with Accounts Receivable
ability to verify and post receipts
ability to resolve discrepancies
ability to analyze AR related data and resolve problems
ability to process daily intercompany transfers and payments
ability to delegate tasks to fiscal associate
ability to maintain AR files and related documents
ability to run weekly aged reports
ability to process new location paperwork for submission to the state
ability to request location codes for new programs in Philadelphia
ability to prepare annual audit and budget submissions
ability to perform quarterly utilization reviews
