Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Process incoming cash receipts and accurately apply them to the appropriate accounts based on customer remittances
• Investigate discrepancies between billed amounts and payments received, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain daily cash receipt records and balance them against the general ledger
• Research, analyze, and validate customer debit memos, coordinating with other departments to process credit requests
• Prepare and issue credit memos for various scenarios, such as promotional goods, damaged items, rebates, and chargebacks
• Manage and document customer rebills, ensuring timely and precise billing processes
• Conduct ongoing reconciliations to maintain the integrity of billing and receivable data
• Distribute monthly financial statements and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Access and utilize customer portals for processing transactions and retrieving necessary documentation

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles
• Proficiency in cash applications, billing functions, and collections processes
• Familiarity with SAP or similar financial software systems
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical rebates and related financial transactions
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external customers
• Proven ability to research and resolve discrepancies in financial data
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
