Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Reconcile credit card statements and ensure accurate weekly reporting for all transaction types
• Process month-end financial tasks, including preparing aging reports and summaries
• Handle daily bank deposits and ensure accurate documentation of transactions
• Communicate with clients to arrange payments and resolve outstanding balances
• Assist branch staff and sales teams in collecting overdue accounts and ensuring adherence to credit policies
• Prepare, review, and process credit applications in collaboration with the credit manager
• Release sales orders in compliance with department guidelines and ensure customer accounts remain current
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide exceptional service to support retention
• Document payment arrangements and maintain accurate records of all communications
• Contribute to achieving departmental and organizational objectives by performing additional tasks as needed

• At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role
• Proficiency in managing collections, including commercial accounts and cash applications
• Strong knowledge of billing functions, aging reports, and reconciliation processes
• Ability to handle credit card statements, reconciliations, and receipts with accuracy
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities effectively

Familiarity with manufacturing industry practices is a plus
