A mid-sized healthcare company in Valley Center is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to handle invoicing, payment applications, and accounts receivable tracking. This role requires a dependable and detail-oriented professional with a passion for accuracy and organizational efficiency to join their growing finance team.
Job Responsibility:
Process invoices and record incoming payments in the appropriate accounts
Apply cash receipts to open invoices or accounts and resolve payment discrepancies promptly
Generate AR aging reports and monitor overdue balances, escalating where necessary
Collaborate with collections and billing teams to follow up on unresolved payments
Maintain accurate and organized records of AR transactions for reporting purposes
Assist with month-end and year-end reporting requirements
Support audits and compliance checks as directed by management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable
healthcare industry experience preferred
Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software and strong Excel skills
Knowledge of financial concepts, including debits, credits, and reconciliation processes
Nice to have:
Familiarity with payroll or accounts payable processes
