Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Process customer invoices daily, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Record payments received, including checks, cash, credit cards, and wire transfers, in the accounting system
• Reconcile cash receipts and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Investigate and address payment and invoicing issues, including providing documentation to customers and resolving duplicate payments
• Collaborate with the Collections team to research and resolve outstanding accounts
• Manage credit card transactions and credit memos efficiently
• Assist with various accounts receivable projects to improve processes and outcomes
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management
• Work overtime when necessary to meet customer needs and deadlines
• Follow safety guidelines while performing physical duties related to the role

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable within a high-volume office environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and general office procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Familiarity with billing systems and cash management processes

Preferred: Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business
