Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Generate and process customer invoices in alignment with established accounting standards
• Accurately record and validate incoming payments, ensuring proper posting to accounts
• Maintain and update the accounts receivable ledger, reconciling payments and preparing reports on overdue accounts
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding delinquent accounts and respond to inquiries about billing in a timely manner
• Handle ad hoc customer billing and reporting tasks as required
• Assist with onboarding new customers by reviewing setup documentation and conducting credit checks
• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Support other accounting tasks and projects as assigned

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative while maintaining focus on quality
• Familiarity with accounts receivable processes, including collections and cash applications
• Experience with accounting systems or platforms is preferred but not required
