Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including the preparation and processing of invoices
• Manage commercial collections by following up on overdue accounts and ensuring timely payments
• Perform cash application duties, accurately allocating payments to customer accounts
• Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure proper balances and transactions
• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing discrepancies or resolve payment issues
• Generate reports detailing accounts receivable activity and provide updates to management
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all financial transactions
• Maintain organized records of accounts receivable and related documentation
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries regarding invoices or payments

• Proven experience in accounts receivable and commercial collections
• Proficiency in cash application processes and billing functions
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and internal teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• High school diploma or equivalent

Additional certifications in accounting or finance are a plus
