A Sarasota‑based organization is looking for a part‑time Accounts Receivable Clerk to support their team during a maternity leave. This is a hands‑on AR and administrative support role involving manual invoicing, basic spreadsheet upkeep, inbox monitoring, and general office assistance. The process is straightforward, and you’ll work closely with the CFO and Sales team.
Job Responsibility:
Manage a manual AR process (simple but detail-oriented)
Maintain a monthly AR spreadsheet and pull upcoming invoices due
Export invoices from customer accounts and send invoices 30 days in advance
Follow up weekly via email and track payments received
Review daily payment updates from the CFO and record amounts in QuickBooks Online
Maintain accuracy across both Excel and QuickBooks (some redundancy required)
Monitor the accounting inbox and respond/route items as needed
Assist with exporting invoices and maintaining record-keeping during a transition to more automated tools (Invoiced.com and a future ERP)
