Join the Finance team at our designer outlet centre in Ochtrup as an Accounts Receivable Assistant and play a key role in a vibrant, fast-moving retail environment. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with centre teams and tenants, playing a key part in accurate billing, effective credit control, and building strong tenant relationships. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension. You’ll gain valuable experience in a dynamic and international business, and you’ll be supported by knowledgeable colleagues in order to develop your career.
Job Responsibility:
Managing the end-to-end sales ledger for approximately 300 tenants
Delivering monthly billing, including rent, turnover rent, service charge, marketing, and utilities
Owning credit control activities, including debt reporting and payment plans
Allocating cash receipts, monitoring bank accounts and completing reconciliations
Responding to tenant queries professionally via email and phone
Supporting audits, legal processes, rent securities and year-end reconciliations
Working in partnership with centre teams and global finance colleagues
Requirements:
Previous accounting experience within industry, retail or property
Strong Excel and Outlook skills
Fluent German (essential) with good English skills preferred
Experience with MRI and/or Workday is desirable
Highly organised, proactive and a confident communicator
