This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the service industry, focusing on customer payment solutions and account management. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring timely collections, resolving payment barriers, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Manage assigned past-due accounts by adhering to established collections policies and procedures
Investigate and resolve payment barriers by coordinating with customers and internal teams to address invoicing issues, payment methods, or account discrepancies
Conduct thorough research of delinquent accounts, collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer claims
Identify root causes of non-payment and determine appropriate actions to resolve issues effectively
Utilize customer service tools and systems to respond promptly to inquiries, troubleshoot problems, and provide educational guidance
Document customer interactions, findings, and progress in Salesforce or VersaPay platforms
Communicate clearly and accurately with customers and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and closing communication loops
Escalate complex cases to appropriate teams or individuals and provide proactive follow-up for resolution
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance collaboration and problem-solving
Continuously learn and apply knowledge of business processes to achieve organizational and individual goals
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of three years of experience in a similar or equivalent role
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
Familiarity with invoicing and payment portal software, such as Salesforce or VersaPay
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented approach
