This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to manage and optimize payment solutions while fostering strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will excel in resolving payment barriers, analyzing root causes of non-payment, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the collection of overdue accounts by adhering to established policies and procedures
Proactively address payment barriers by collaborating with customers and internal teams to resolve invoicing or payment discrepancies
Investigate and resolve issues with delinquent accounts by conducting thorough research and collaborating with relevant teams
Analyze the root causes of non-payment and determine effective solutions to address them
Utilize systems and tools to respond promptly to customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide single-touch resolutions
Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions, insights, and progress in Salesforce and/or VersaPay
Foster positive and empathetic communication with both internal and external customers
Identify patterns in customer inquiries and share actionable insights with the team to improve processes
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless problem resolution and effective communication
Plan and prioritize work assignments to balance inbound inquiries, outbound collections, and operational tasks in a dynamic environment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 3 years of relevant or similarly complex work experience
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused and investigative approach
Proficiency in using invoicing and payment portal software
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented demeanor
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Nice to have:
Preferred experience in customer service or finance-related roles, and comfort in navigating platforms like Salesforce, VersaPay, and Microsoft Dynamics NAV
