We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Accounting Analyst to join our team in Concord, California. In this contract position, you will play a critical role in managing financial transactions, billing and maintaining large data sets in MS Excel. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in accounting and Microsoft Excel to support key business operations.
Job Responsibility:
Process monthly reports using advanced Excel techniques, including formulas and large data sets, to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Apply payments to accounts by downloading daily lockbox details
Generate invoices for outstanding balances, prepare billing documents
Balance monthly receipts against bank statements and compile totals for general ledger updates
Conduct electronic file transfers, receipt processing, and dependent premium collections
Research receivable balances and provide supporting documents to identify amounts owed
Ensure all financial records are accurate, organized, and compliant with organizational standards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field with a strong foundation in accounts receivable processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create formulas, manipulate large data sets, and utilize advanced functions
Experience in using Microsoft Word and other relevant software to manage documentation and communication
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written form
Familiarity with billing, reconciliations, and compliance audits in a detail-oriented environment
