Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Riverside, Rhode Island. This role focuses on efficiently managing accounts receivable and ensuring accurate financial reporting, collaborating with vendors and leveraging QuickBooks for effective financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with third-party claims processors to oversee claims and ensure proper handling
review, approve, and process claims funds accurately
record financial transactions and updates in the general ledger system
perform bank account reconciliations to ensure proper alignment of financial records
conduct pre-checks for vendor payments to maintain compliance and accuracy
utilize QuickBooks software to manage and track financial operations effectively
monitor cash activities and ensure timely application to accounts
handle billing functions to ensure accuracy and completeness of invoicing

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including claims handling and reconciliations
proficiency in cash applications and billing functions
strong knowledge of general ledger operations
familiarity with QuickBooks and its functionalities
excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
ability to manage cash activity and ensure timely processing
strong analytical skills to review and approve claims funds
effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors and third-party processors
