Job Description:

This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to lead and enhance the accounts payable operations within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and technical expertise to ensure efficient payment processes and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the accounts payable department to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
Manage coding of invoices and ensure proper allocation to relevant accounts
Coordinate and execute check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments
Implement best practices for accounts payable processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
Use Workday software to streamline accounts payable operations and reporting
Supervise and mentor team members, providing training and support as needed
Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial regulations
Collaborate with other departments to address discrepancies and resolve payment issues
Prepare regular reports and analyses related to accounts payable activities
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable management, including coding invoices and overseeing check runs
Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment processes
Proficiency in Workday or similar financial systems
Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising and mentoring teams
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
Ability to troubleshoot discrepancies and resolve payment issues effectively
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across departments
