Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Supervisor collaborates with the Finance and Accounting team to ensure smooth operations of financial and accounting processes. This position involves high-volume processing, vendor account reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, and other accounts payable responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure timely processing of accounts payable transactions
conduct three-way matching of invoices
maintain vendor accounts and reconciliation activities
resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
manage recurring payments including check runs, wires, and ACH payments
reconcile corporate credit card accounts
ensure proper vendor setup and issuance of 1099s
prepare and record journal entries and accruals
assist with annual audits
maintain and organize files

Requirements:

Strong leadership within Finance and Accounting team
experience with high-volume accounts payable transactions
proficiency in GL coding and data entry
ability to conduct three-way matching (PO / Receiving / AP Invoice)
reconciliation skills including aging statements and vendor accounts
experience in resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues
familiarity with check runs, wires, and ACH payments
corporate credit card account reconciliation
ability to obtain W-9 forms and issue 1099s
experience preparing journal entries and accruals
ability to assist with annual audits
organizational and filing skills
