We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial processes. Job Responsibility:
Manage and supervise the accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
Oversee invoice coding and review for compliance with company policies and standards
Coordinate and execute regular check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
Monitor and improve accounts payable procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all payment transactions
Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment discrepancies and inquiries
Generate and analyze reports related to accounts payable activities for leadership review
Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Train and mentor staff to foster growth within the accounts payable team
Address and resolve escalated issues related to payments or vendor relationships
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable management or a similar supervisory role
Strong knowledge of invoice coding, check runs, and ACH transactions
Ability to manage and lead a team effectively, fostering collaboration and productivity
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in financial software and tools used for accounts payable processes
Strong problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and payment issues
Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards
