Requirements:
Oversee daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, approvals, and payment scheduling
Supervise, mentor, and train AP staff while managing workload distribution
Review and reconcile vendor statements
resolve discrepancies promptly
Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP standards, and audit requirements
Maintain accurate AP records and prepare monthly reports for management
Partner with Procurement, Accounting, and other departments to resolve issues and improve workflows
Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payments to vendors
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements
Ideal candidate would have experience with Canadian taxes
