We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to lead and manage the accounts payable operations at our office in Kent, Washington. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payment execution, and reconciliations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable processes, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment execution, and reconciliation activities
Accurately process domestic vendor invoices and ensure timely payment to maintain strong vendor relationships
Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies or issues that arise
Investigate and resolve short payments by collaborating with vendors and internal teams
Support order entry and review processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
Utilize and maintain systems such as NetSuite to manage accounts payable operations effectively
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations in all accounts payable activities
Provide leadership and guidance to the accounts payable team, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role, with a strong understanding of full-cycle accounts payable processes
Proficiency in using financial systems, with experience in NetSuite highly preferred
Strong skills in processing invoices, automated clearing house (ACH) transactions, and check runs
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to reconcile accounts accurately
Effective problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve discrepancies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams
Ability to work 100% on-site in Kent, Washington
Familiarity with coding invoices and related accounting practices
