Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to join our client's team on a contract basis in Cerritos, California. This position requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual to lead and oversee the accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and team supervision, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise the full cycle AP process of invoice receipt, validation, approval, GL coding, and payment
Lead and supervise a team of AP Associates
Provide training and ongoing support to AP Associates
Monitor daily AP operations and resolve any issues related to the AP process
Oversee the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices
Help to resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase order, and receiving reports/packing slips
Ensure timely and accurate completion of the month-end AP closing processes and deadlines
Assist AP Associates as needed to address vendor inquiries, resolve invoice or payment disputes
Prepare and review AP Aging Reports
Continuously evaluate and improve AP processes and controls
Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and internal controls
Provide timely and accurate bank and AP reporting
Safeguard organization’s financial data by keeping information confidential

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
3-5 years of accounting experience
Minimum 3-5 years of computerized accounting experience
At least 3-5 years in a supervisory or staff management capacity
