Job Responsibility
Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and expense reports
Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to ensure accuracy
Route matched invoices for approval
Prepare and process payments by check, ACH, and other approved methods
Maintain vendor records and respond to payment inquiries or discrepancies
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end closing activities
Process and enter vendor invoices
Enter payables into the ERP/manufacturing system
Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person
Manage and maintain online customer and vendor accounts
Assist with special projects and other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
High school diploma required
associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a related accounting role
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
